  • 31 December 2010 - Keraniss closed the shop at the arrival lounge of the airport in Warsaw

  • 15 November 2010 - Keraniss opened a new shop at the airport in Krakow - Balice

  • 3 July 2009
On 3 July 2009 the Classic Shop situated in the Departure Lounge was closed down. The business activity will be continued by a new Classic Shop situated in the Non-Schengen Area at Terminal 2. The new shop offers typical Classic Shop goods, but it has been extended to include a delicatessen section and a cosmetics section.

  • 4 April 2009 - Keraniss opens a new shop at Terminal 2 at Warsaw Airport. What catches attention is a large cosmetics section.

  • 28 March 2008 the opening of a Keraniss shop in Łódź

On 28 March 2008 a new Keraniss shop was opened. It is situated in the future duty-free area at Władysław Reymont Airport in Łódź. The assortment of goods, quality of service and the shop interior closely meet the standards of other Keraniss shops of the Classic Shop type, which offer a traditional range of duty-free goods supplemented with perfume products.



  • 19 March 2008 - the closing down of Delikatesy (a delicatessen)

Due to the opening of Terminal 2 and the change in the boundaries of duty-free area at Fryderyk Chopin Airport in Warsaw, Keraniss is forced to close down Delikatesy.

  • 24 September 2008 - the opening of the second shop at Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice

On 24 September 2008 Keraniss opened a shop in Terminal B; this is its second shop at Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice.



  • Opening of the first Keraniss shop at Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice

On 23 June 2005 Keraniss opened its first shop at Katowice Airport in Pyrzowice. The shop is located in Terminal A, in the duty-free area in the Departure Lounge of the International Airport.



  • Renovation of the shop at Warsaw Airport - 15 June 2005

At the end of May and the beginning of June 2005, Keraniss made a number of changes in the Classic Shop layout at Fryderyk Chopin Airport in Warsaw. Thanks to the new and more functional arrangement of shelves, which allowed for a better display of particular products, and thanks to a change of lighting, the goods have become more visible and accessible to the customers.

  • 8 December 1999 - the opening of Keraniss Delikatesy at Okęcie Airport in Warsaw.
     


THE DUTY-FREE DELICATESSEN

This is the first delicatessen shop at Warsaw International Fryderyk Chopin Airport. Its target customers are mainly (foreign and Polish) travellers who, on their departure from Poland, wish to purchase a high-quality product associated with this country. It is also the first and only duty-free shop so far that sells kosher products in Eastern Europe. As Sigmund Nissenbaum, the President of the Foundation, told journalists, "it will allow Jewish orthodox businessmen to travel freely to Poland and the neighbouring countries without the necessity to take suitcases full of food with them". President Nissenbaum added that all the profits generated by the shops would be spent on the restoration of Jewish graveyards, synagogues and culture in Poland.

  • September 1993 - the opening of the second Keraniss shop in Warsaw

A month after the first shop was opened in the Arrival Lounge near customs, Keraniss opened another shop at Okęcie Airport in Warsaw; this time in the duty-free area. The Classic Shop, with its interior and assortment, meets the worldwide standards regarding the line of duty-free shops located at international airports. The typical goods offered by those shops worldwide are alcohol, tobacco and confectionery products, supplemented with other food products.



  • July 1993 - the opening of the first Keraniss shop in Warsaw

In July 1993, the first Keraniss shop was opened at Okęcie Airport. The shop offers the travellers who are waiting to reclaim their luggage in the Arrival Lounge not only a wide range of alcohol, tobacco and food products, but also some little goods that may serve as gifts for those who are waiting to meet the travellers, be it adults or children, and as souvenirs from the trip. Also, this is the last chance for the forgetful ones to buy a little gift before leaving the airport.



  • July 1993 - Keraniss begins its activity

In July 1993, the company Keraniss sp. z o.o. was set up in Warsaw. It was established by the Nissenbaum Family Foundation, which was created and founded by Sigmund Nissenbaum. Since 1985 the Foundation has been involved in preserving Jewish heritage in Poland. The activity of Keraniss supports the statutory activities of the Foundation.
